Our treats are made by hand with sustainably sourced fish (or Red Tractor lamb) mixed with some veg and lovely herbs. That's it. No funny stuff, no nasties - just like our meals. We - and our office dogs - think these two recipes are winning combinations.

Just like our meals, our treats are hypoallergenic. We don’t add cereals or gluten into anything we make and we only use single-source proteins, which means our lamb treats just contain lamb, and our fish treats only contain fish.
Both treats are suitable for all dog ages (from puppies to seniors), and are also great for training. For teeny tiny pups, we’d suggest breaking the treats down into smaller pieces. Sadly, our treats don’t have any dental benefits (we're working on it), but if you'd like to keep your dog's teeth clean then the best way to do this is by giving them a brush a few times a week with doggy toothpaste. You can read more about this in our article here.
Since our treats are air-dried, they should keep for up to 6 months. We recommend storing them in a cool, dry place, before and after opening. Don't forget to reseal the pouch to keep them nice and fresh. The packaging is also entirely recyclable - bonus!
So how do you get your hands on some? Simple - you can add them to your dog's plan.
Start by logging into your online account with your email address and Butternut password, and then head to the Extras page. From there, click on 'Tasty treats' and you can select whether to add treats to the plan, or just to your dog's next box. You can always come back to this page to change your preferences.
Here's a little walkthrough of how to add treats to your plan:
Our lamb treats:
70g bag (£4) - Approx. 30-45 treats per pack
150g bag (£6.50) - Approx 80-95 treats per pack
250g bag (£9) - Approx 135-155 treats per pack
Our fish treats:
70g bag (£4) - Approx 25-35 treats per pack
150g bag (£6.50) - Approx 45-75 treats per pack
250g bag (£9) - Approx 110-130 treats per pack
We suggest giving your dog a maximum of 5 treats per day.
