Nope - we've done the cooking for you. Once your dog's Butternut arrives, you can feed it as soon as it's defrosted.
Some dogs like to have their meals heated up a little - you can do this by popping their meal serving into a microwaveable dish and warming it through for a few seconds. You can also use a pan on the hob, over a low heat if you'd like, but either way, we think you'll agree with your dog that it smells incredible.
If you forget to defrost a pouch overnight, the best option is to pop it in the microwave under the defrost setting to allow an even defrosting of the meal. We'd recommend mixing the meal around when you can to avoid any parts getting too hot. If you need to use water instead, it should be cold to prevent the outside part of the meal getting too warm (running water is the best option because it allows more heat exchange). Ideally, check on it after 15 minutes and when ready, pop it in the fridge.
