If your dog suffers from an autoimmune disease, it's really important that they don't eat raw food. This is because their immunosuppressant medication leaves them far more vulnerable to infection, such as the Campylobacter, E.coli, Salmonella and Listeria bacteria that can be present in raw foods.
We gently cook our meals and make them with freshly prepared ingredients; they all contain 60% meat, and the rest is veg and lentils along with herbs, minerals, and vitamins. Each recipe is easy on the digestion and 100% nutritiously complete, so you'll know that your dog is getting everything they need from their daily pouch.
If your dog has an autoimmune or immune-mediated disease, we'd recommend a slower two-week transition over to our meals. We also stress how important it is to continue with all of your dog's prescribed medications.
