Organic and Free-Range Meals?

We're Not There Yet but We're Focused on Ethical Sourcing, With Bigger Goals for the Future

Updated over 2 months ago

Offering free-range, organic meals is something we’re really interested in branching out into as we grow and develop, but at the moment we’re a small, relatively new company and this means we just don’t have the margins available to make our entire supply chain free-range.

What we’re trying to address with Butternut at the moment are the wider issues within the pet food market. Here lies our first battle - what goes into cans of pet food and commercial dry food is just not something we are comfortable with and is the reason our company started.

We have a real focus on making sure our meat is sourced from as close to where we need it as possible and adheres to ethical codes. While our meals are not currently free-range, we ensure that all the meat used in our boxes is sourced from farms we trust and straight from the human food chain.
