Balanced Carbs from Fresh Ingredients for Your Dog’s Energy, Gut Health, and More

Updated over 2 weeks ago

Carbohydrates are essential for a dog to thrive, and in our meals, they come from gently cooked lentils, sweet potatoes, and vegetables. They provide a balanced diet that is rich in vitamins, omega fatty acids, and antioxidants. Carbohydrates are a fantastic source of energy and a source of fibre which ensures great gut mobility, balanced good bacteria, and regular stools.

While many processed dog foods contain more carbs than meat, our meals are rich in human-quality protein and freshly prepared vegetables. As dogs are omnivores, meaning that they need both meat and veggies in order to thrive, our recipes provide pooches protein in a variety of forms. We make sure to pack each pouch with veg, lentils, vitamins and minerals to keep our pups happy and healthy.

The carbs in our recipes fall into the complex carbohydrate category and have a low glycaemic index, meaning they do not cause spikes in blood sugar - great news if your dog is diabetic.
