What do you get: A discount on your next box for each new customer who signs up with your referral code.
What your friend gets: A discount on their first box (or two) so they can trial a Butternut diet for their own pooch.

How does it work?
Every Butternut customer is given a unique referral code when you sign up, which is usually your first name plus some numbers. This can be turned into a referral link by adding it to the end of a Butternut web link. For example:

To share your link, log in to your account in the app or online, then click the "FREE Food" tab. From here you will see your unique code and how many referrals you have made so far.
There's also the option to email your referral link directly to a friend, share it on your socials or send it via WhatsApp.
All your friend has to do is click the link and complete the signup process, and they will automatically receive a discount on their order and you'll get a discount off your next box too.
We also donate a meal to a dog in need for every new sign-up.
My referral discount hasn't been applied!
If you have sent a discount link/code to your friend and you think that they have placed their first order but your discount hasn't appeared, there are a few things that could have happened here:
Your friend hasn't managed to place their first order yet.
Your friend has placed their order, but hasn't used your specific referral code, and therefore, the discount hasn't applied.
Your friend attempted to place an order using your code, however, they already had an account in our system, which prevented them from placing another discounted order.
If you feel like there is a problem and your discount hasn't applied correctly, please drop the Customer Love team a message so we can look into this for you! When you get in touch, please provide your friend's full name, their dog's name(s) and any other details you have (such as their street name or postcode) so we can track down their account quickly.
*Please note, there is an annual limit of £250 for referral discounts.
