Can I Get a Sample Pouch?
We’re not able to send individual sample pouches or single testers — and here’s why.
All of our meals are freshly prepared in our kitchen, frozen, and delivered straight to your door in insulated packaging. To keep everything safe and tasty for your pup, the meals need to stay at the right temperature. Unfortunately, sending just one or two pouches wouldn’t keep them cool for long enough.
What We Offer Instead
Rather than sending a single sample, when you sign up for Butternut we've created a trial box that’s the perfect way for your dog to try Butternut.
🐾 The trial box includes a variety of meals tailored for your dog and you can choose which recipes go in, alongside our personalised recommendations
🐾 We recommend a daily amount just for them, based on their profile

Feeling A Bit Cautious About Subscribing?
No worries! When you order your trial box, you'll be starting a subscription — but it's super flexible, and you're in control.
The subscription is designed to work around you and your dog — you decide:
🐾 How much food you get
🐾 How often it’s delivered
🐾 When (or if) you need to take a break
You can stop or make changes to your plan at any time, as long as you let us know before the cut-off time for your next box.
Once you’ve stopped your subscription, your orders won’t start up again unless you choose to reactivate/ resume your account later.

Yes! You can find selected Butternut meals in Pets at Home stores across the UK.
A Few Things to Know:
