Popping some Butternut in a Kong or feeding toy is a great way to get fussier pooches more excited about their food. These toys turn mealtimes into a game and help to keep them mentally stimulated. They’re also ideal if your pooch is prone to wolfing down their dinner too quickly.
Be sure to always clean and remove any remaining food inside the Kong before you refill and we advise against leaving your dog unattended with it.
We recommend putting food into the Kong or other food enrichment toy from a freshly opened pouch. Once a pouch is opened it is safe for up to two days whilst stored in the fridge and kept in an airtight container. If storing the meal in the toy, to help keep it fresh, just wrap the Kong in a food wrap or put it in an airtight container before popping it in the fridge.
