To give our customers the most control and flexibility over how we contact you, we have launched an SMS ‘opt-in’ feature within your account.
As ever, the best way to keep up to date with your deliveries is by downloading our app and enabling push notifications. This will automatically tell you whenever a Butternut Box is due in plenty of time to make any necessary amendments.
As standard, we will always send you delivery reminders via email in advance of your next delivery being dispatched. This will be sent to the email address linked to your account. If you would like to get SMS reminders as well you can opt in from inside your online account.
How to Download the App
You can download the free Butternut Box app to your device from wherever you get your apps (Apple store, Play store).
Log in using your usual account details then when prompted, enable notifications. If you have any trouble remembering your password, please use the ‘forgotten password’ feature on the login screen.
How to Enable SMS Notifications
Once logged into your account, either via web browser or the app:
Click on the person icon in the top right-hand corner of your screen.
Click into the ‘Contact Preferences’ option.
Scroll down to the bottom section of this page.
Click the toggle under 'SMS Delivery Notifications' to enable.
Tip: On this page, you can also choose how you are contacted, adjust your marketing preferences or indeed unsubscribe from all communications.
💡 Note: If you have set up push notifications from the Butternut app (these are enabled/disabled from your device, not the app itself) and also toggled SMS notifications to 'on' - you will not be sent the SMS notification.
