What Couriers Do We Use?

DPD, Yodel and Dual Courier Delivery days!

Updated over 2 weeks ago

In the UK:

📦 We offer two couriers in most areas of the UK (Yodel and DPD), and you can adjust which one serves you by tweaking orders.

If for any reason you aren't happy with the courier that delivered your Butternut Box (and you live in the UK) we might be able to adjust your delivery dates/days to suit you better.

👉 At the moment, Butternut Box orders are delivered exclusively by DPD on the following days of the week:

  • Monday

  • Wednesday

  • Thursday

  • Sunday

Yodel delivers exclusively on Saturday.

Yodel and DPD deliver (dual courier days) are Tuesday and Friday.

If an order falls on Tuesday or Friday, we cannot determine which courier will handle your box exactly before it is dispatched.

The above advice does not apply if you live in a 2-day delivery zone, as these are slightly less flexible, but have a chat with the team and we will do whatever we can to help! 2-day delivery zones include (but are not limited to) more rural parts of Scotland, The Isle of Wight, the Isle of Man, etc.

In Ireland:

For the most part DPD are our delivery partner in the ROI, however there are some dual courier days and some exceptions. These are as follows:

  • DPD delivers Monday-Friday.

  • Wednesday and Thursday are dual courier days, where DPD and An Post deliver. We are not able to determine which courier will handle your specific box on those days.

  • There are no weekend deliveries available in the ROI.

💡 Please note: At times when our couriers are experiencing service disruption, there is extreme weather or there is last-minute changes to delivery plans, we may need to switch couriers from the above schedule. We always aim to keep this to a minimum, but need to remain flexible in order to provide you with the best service possible and ensure dogs bowls don't go empty!
