How do I sign up my dog for Butternut Box?
To set up your account and create a tailored meal plan for your dog, follow these simple steps:
Step 1: Visit our website directly or click the unique sign-up link you were provided.
Step 2: Click the Build a Box button located at the top of the webpage.
Step 3: Enter your dog's basic details when prompted, including their name, gender, age, breed, and current diet.
Note: Make sure to add all of your dogs at the start of the process if you have a multi-dog household, this allows you to continue to enter individual details for each dog at every stage, as you proceed.
Step 4: Select the closest matching breed option or select 'I don't know' if your dog's exact breed or mix is not listed among our choices.
Step 6: List any known allergies, health conditions, or dietary sensitivities so we can recommend the most suitable recipes for your pup.
Step 7: Enter your full name and email address, review our privacy policy, and choose your preferred email contact preferences, opting in or out of receiving discount offers, updates and dog wellbeing advice.
Step 8: Review the tailored recipe recommendations we've selected based on your dog's profile, and feel free to swap, add, or remove any recipes to suit your dog's taste and needs.
Note: If your dog has specific health needs or allergies, please take a look through the recipe details and if needed chat these through with your Vet.
Step 9: Review your trial box and choose your ongoing portion size. You can then review the daily cost breakdown for both your initial trial box and your recurring plan directly above the 'Next' button, before clicking it to move forward.
Step 10: Browse our range of optional treats and extras to add them to your initial order if you wish.
Step 11: Create a secure password, enter your delivery address, select your preferred delivery date, and add your payment details to complete your order.
Note: You will then be directed to your bank to authenticate setting up your payment details for your ongoing plan.
Step 12: Now your account sign-up is complete, you can sign in to your account and check out your dog's new plan and upcoming deliveries. We also recommend downloading the app, to make tracking your orders and making changes even easier.
What if I need to take a break during sign-up?
Need to step away and come back later? No problem at all.
As long as you don't clear your browser cookies or cache, your progress will be saved automatically. Simply head back to our website whenever you're ready and click 'See your plan' to pick up right where you left off.
