Important: 

When you stop your subscription with us, this places your account in a paused state. This means you can return at a later date if you would like to. We will safely store your details.

It's too expensive

Here we offer some great tips for making your plan more cost-effective, such as switching to a smaller pouch size and supplementing with other foods at home, having less frequent deliveries, and removing recipes that cause waste. additional costs. 

My dog doesn't like food


Dogs can stop eating from time to time, just like us. The good news is that we've had huge success with picky eaters and our pet parents have found the tips in this article particularly helpful.

I don't have enough freezer space

You can store meals in the refrigerator for up to a week (two days once opened) if freezer space is limited. You can also reduce the number of pouches in your deliveries so that they are easier to store.

I had a problem with the courier

We are sorry to hear this. You can report any issues with your deliveries by following the steps in this article and we will investigate. You can also change your deliveries to another day of the week if that suits you better.

I don't need regular deliveries

No problem! The subscription is very flexible and you can skip or delay boxes as often as you want. You can also pause the subscription and order single boxes when you need them, or order our extras separately.

I can't find the option to cancel my account.

At Butternut, we don't 'cancel' accounts but instead pause them which means you can revisit us in the future should you want to. 

If you would prefer to have all of your information removed from our system, you would need to request a 'hard removal' of your personal details.

To stop your subscription

In the online account...

1. Log in to your Butternut account online or via the app with your email address and password.

2. Select your profile icon in the top right-hand corner of the screen.

3. Select 'Account details' from the list.

4. In the 'Account details' area scroll down and you will then have the option to stop your subscription, in red. You will be shown some options, continue to click through on the 'pause subscription' button. You will then need to complete a quick exit survey and simply click on “Stop my subscription”

IMPORTANT: You will always receive a confirmation email when your account is terminated. If this does not happen, it means the account is still active. If you stop your account after the deadline for your next delivery, this box will still be billed and sent.
